2001年11月に開催されたIMO第22回総会で採択された決議のうち、技術事項及び条約の実施に関するもの等弊会の業務に関連するものについて以下のとおり簡単に御紹介致します。

A.910 (22) Amendments to COLREGs （2003年11月23日発効）
- 海上衝突予防規則の改正。WIG Craft （海面すれすれを表面効果で飛行する一種の飛行艇）の航法及びその灯火及び形象物を追加。
- 小型船（長さ12-20m）におけるBellの省略、又はGongについては同等な音をだすもので置き換えられることになった。また小型船のWhistleの性能要件の変更。
- High Speed Craftの灯火の変更

A.911 (22) Uniform wording for referencing IMO instruments
IMOの各決議、Circular等を条約から参照する場合の方法の標準方式を定めたもの。「強制」「同等以上」「勧告」に分けてその表記方法を定めている。

A.913 (22) Revised Guidelines on the implementation of the ISM Code by Administrations
MSC 73で採択されたISM Codeの改正において、同Guideline A.788(19)の一部がISM Code本体A.741(18)に取り入れたのにあわせた改正。改正要旨は次のとおり。
1 旧セクション3『DOC・SMC発給と有効期間』がISMコードに取り入れられたことによりMSC決議MSC.104(73)により削除された。
2 旧セクション1.1の定義が削除された。（ISMコードで規定されているため）
3 DOCの定期的検証 （Periodical Verification）が年次検証 （Annual Verification）に字句変更された
4 DOC・SMCの各検証が『主管庁により要請された他の条約締約国』により実施されることが追記された（3.1.1）。
5 DOC・SMCの書式が削除された。（ISMコードに取り入れられたため）

A.916 (22) Guidelines for the recording of events related to navigation
SOLAS 2000年改正（MSC.99(73)） V/28規則により要求されている航海中の記録事項の記録指針。原則log bookへの記入であるがそれ以外の方法も認められる。

A.917 (22) Guidelines for the onboard operational use of shipborne Automatic Identification Systems (AIS)
SOLAS 2000年改正（MSC.99(73)） V/19規則により設備が要求されているAISの運用指針。実際の運用に当たっての注意事項、AISの能力の限界などについて述べられている。

A.921 (22) Assembly resolutions superseded by the 1995 amendments to the STCW convention
STCW条約の1995年改正及びSTCW Codeの完全発効に2002年2月1日をもって以下の総会決議の廃止を通知したもの。

A.770(18) Minimum Training Requirements for Personnel Nominated to Assist Passengers in Emergency Situations on Passenger Ships

A.926 (22) Availability and use of low sulphur bunker fuel oils in Sox emission control areas designated in accordance with regulation 14(3) of Annex VI of MARPOL 73/78
大気汚染に関するMARPOL Annex VI（未発効）で規定しているNox Emission Control Area（バルチック海など）においてlow sulphur fuelが供給できるよう当該地域政府に求めている。

A.928 (22) Early and effective application of the Convention on the Control of Harmful Anti-fouling Systems on Ships
2001年10月に採択されたthe Convention on the Control of Harmful Anti-fouling Systems on Shipsに関連して、各国政府に承認した防汚塗料をIMOへ通知するよう要請している。
