About CSMS Certification
ClassNK certifies that the Cyber Security Management System established and operated by a company is functioning effectively both within the company and onboard its ships, with the highest priority placed on ensuring the safe operation of ships.
ClassNK has also issued the “Cyber Security Management System for Ships (Requirements and Controls)” as a guideline for this certification.
Handbook for NK-CSMS Audits
To facilitate the smooth application of the various requirements set out in the guideline by ship management companies, ClassNK has prepared the “Handbook for NK-CSMS Audits.” The handbook provides specific information on operational matters.
