About Cold Chain Logistics Services Certification
ClassNK provides certification for cold chain logistics services in accordance with the following three standards: ISO 23412, JSA-S1004 and ISO 31512.

Overview of the Certification Process
ClassNK conducts document and on-site audits to confirm that the cold chain logistics services provided by the applicant organization, such as a logistics service provider, conform to the requirements of the applicable standard. When conformity is confirmed, ClassNK issues a certificate of registration.

Submit the relevant application form or request for quotation. - Document and on-site audits
ClassNK reviews documents and the actual service provision system. - Issuance of certificate
A certificate of registration is issued after conformity is confirmed.

To apply for an audit, complete the applicable application form and submit it by e-mail or post. Refer to the relevant instructions when completing the form. To request an estimate of the audit fee, submit the applicable request for quotation.

Audit Team and Appeals
Audits by Experienced Auditors with Specialized Knowledge
ClassNK appoints an auditor holding ISO auditor qualifications, or a person with equivalent competence, as the team leader. A person with expertise in the logistics field is also assigned as a team member to ensure that the audit is conducted appropriately.
Complaints and Appeals
Complaints and appeals concerning cold chain logistics services certification are handled in accordance with ClassNK's Regulations for Technical Services.
