PSC Concentrated Inspection Campaign on Safety of Navigation
Tokyo MOU is planning the following PSC Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) in 2008.
Items of Concentrated inspection : SOLAS Chapter V, Safety of Navigation
Campaign period : From 1 September to 30 November 2008
In this connection, navigational equipment condition, maintenance records, familiarity of crew with navigational equipment, up-to-date charts and publications, etc. are to be the target of the Concentrated Inspection Campaign.
Concurrently, Paris MOU, Black Sea MOU, Indian Ocean MOU and USCG are also planning the same campaign during the same period.
