ClassNK CHEMISYS is an online service for checking whether chemical tanker satisfies loading requirements of chemical products in IBC Code or MEPC.2/Circ. etc. CHEMISYS consists of “for Designer” website for designers in shipbuilder and design company and “Ship in Service” website for ship owner and ship management company.

CHEMISYS -for Designer-

List of chemical products loaded on design ship can be checked after inputting ship information. In addition, necessary documents (Operation Manual and P&A Manual) can be created on CHEMISYS by choosing chemical products which will be include in Certificate of Fitness (COF).

When IBC Code or MEPC.2/Circ. is amended, difference from the past requirements can be confirmed on CHEMISYS.

Inputted ship data can be submitted to NK as reference data in new-shipbuilding plan approval by linking to ship information which has been registered in NK-PASS.

CHEMISYS -Ship in Service-

Chemical products in Certificate of Fitness (COF) of all your fleet can be searched on CHEMISYS. It can be confirmed which requirements are not satisfied for the unfitted chemical products.

When IBC Code or MEPC.2/Circ. is amended, it can be confirmed whether chemical products in COF can be maintained, or not and its reason. By checking chemical products to be excluded from COF on CHMEMISYS, COF will be issued, accordingly.

Issuance of certificate which states a chemical tanker satisfies requirements of chemical products and which is tentatively issued before issuance of COF can be applied on CHEMISYS. The Temporary Certificate can be immediately downloaded on the website.

Application

Logging in ClassNK Web Service Portal, “NK-PASS” users can also use “CHEMISYS –for Designer-” and “NK-SHIPS” users can also use “CHEMISYS –Ship in Service-” without any additional application.
