Marshall Islands Administration has notified ClassNK of Radio Log Books on Marshall Islands Flag GMDSS ships as per attached.

Please find outlines of the notice hereunder. For further detail of the notice, please refer to Maritime Notice No. 4-033-7 attached.
1. Composition of Radio Logbooks
The radio logbook is to be comprised of the following three sections:
(A) Particulars of Ship,
(B) Details of Radio Personnel, and
(C) Record of Communications (The Master will inspect and sign each day's entries.)
If a conventional radio logbook which does not have spaces for information in sections (A) and (B) is used, the required information in sections (A) and (B) may be typed on a separate paper and attached to the inside front cover of the conventional radio logbook.
2. Retention of Radio Logbooks
- At the termination of each voyage, or not less frequently than semi-annually, the radio logbooks shall be forwarded to the shipowner and/or operator.
- The shipowner and/or operator shall retain all forwarded radio logbooks for a period of at least two (2) years from the date of receipt.
