Cargo handling appliances on ships registered to the Marshall Islands are not required to satisfy ILO convention requirements. However, the Government encourages to apply Articles 21 through 32 in PartⅢ of ILO Convention No.152.
When Convention No.152 is applied, derrick systems onboard ship shall have an annual thorough examination instead of an annual inspection, of which fact will be recorded in the relevant ship's Cargo Gear Book.
If you want to apply the above, and make an application to us when the ship has the survey, ClassNK service site will do the survey and put the record.
