"Launching at 5 knots" test of lifeboats and rescue boats on board the Bahamas flag ships
The Government of Bahamas informed the Society that the Government would be agreeable on a case by case basis to applying "Launching at 5 knots" test to lifeboats and rescue boats on board "sister ships" flying the Bahamas flag, and it is shown in ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0432 of the Society.
In this respect, the Government recently has instructed the Society that it is not acceptable to omit the "Launching at 5 knots" test for "sister ships" flying the Bahamas flag.
