Revision of Application Form for Surveys and Issue of Certificates
Please be informed that the application form to be submitted to the Society at the time a ship is subjected to surveys for maintenance of class and installations registration has been revised as attached hereto.
You are kindly invited to begin using the new form from 1 July 2001 and to pay your special attention to the following:
1. Request for surveys for maintenance of class and installations registration is to be made by owner or master of a ship by submitting application to the Society's local office .
2. "Owner" referred to in the Regulations for the Classification and Registry of Ships includes the person duly authorized to act on behalf of the owner such as ships' manager.
