ClassNK releases “Guidelines for Advanced Safety Measures(Edition 1.1)”

There has been growing international concern over jamming(radio interference) and spoofing(signal falsification) of GNSS, which may affect the safety of navigation of ships. In response to this trend, our guidelines are revised to enable the appropriate evaluation of ships equipped with systems capable of detecting the effects of such jamming and spoofing and alerting the crew, and to allow the assignment of a notation.
