Instructions from the several flag states on the implementation of MSC.1/Circ.1206 regarding periodic servicing and maintenance of lifeboats, launching appliances and on-load release gear were informed by ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0693 dated 12 April 2007.

As Malta, Vanuatu and Vietnam have informed us of new/revised instructions, we update the information of said instructions on this matter.

Please replace the attachment of the ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0693 dated 12 April 2007 "Instructions from the flag states on the implementation of MSC.1/Circ.1206" with the attached "Instructions from the flag states on the implementation of MSC.1/Circ.1206 (2007.11)".
