The Singapore government has notified of Marking of Liferafts by Surveys Circular No. 5/2002.

In addition to the markings required under 4. 2. 7 of the LSA Code, the name of the ship and "SINGAPORE" should be marked on liferaft for Singapore flagged ships. According to this notification, after the flag change to Singapore, the name of the ship and "SINGAPORE" should be marked underneath the bottom and on the outside of the canopy as well as its valise of the liferaft till the next annual liferaft servicing.
