The MARITIME AND PORT AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE has notified ClassNK of radio records.

1. The radio records are prescribed in Regulation 17 of Chapter IV of 1974 SOLAS as amended.
The entries of incidents connected with the rediocommunication service which appear to be of importance to safe of life at sea are referred to the MARINE CIRCULAR TO SHIPOWNERS No.6 OF 2003 issued by the Authority.

2. The radio records need not be in any prescribed format or booklet and may be kept in the form of incident records or journal entries.
The records should be kept on board the ship for at least a year.
