The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and Vanuatu Maritime Services have informed ClassNK of the requirement for atmosphere testing instrument for enclosed spaces.

Both Flag Administrations require ships which are registered in the flag states to provide atmosphere testing instrument for enclosed spaces specified in Resolution MSC.380(94) as soon as possible but not later than 1 July 2015.
Compliance of above requirement shall be verified by surveyor at first survey relating to the Safety Equipment on or after 1 July 2015.
