Guidelines for Floating Offshore Facilities for LNG/LPG Production, Storage, Offloading and Regasification (Fourth Edition) - are now available.

Please be advised that the Guidelines for Floating Offshore Facilities for LNG/LPG Production, Storage, Offloading and Regasification (Fourth Edition) - are now available. The requirements related to liquefied gases in these guidelines make specific reference to requirements found in Part N of the Rules for the Survey and Construction of Steel Ships, which is based upon IMO IGC Code. In 2015, the IGC Code was reviewed and revised by the IMO; Part N of the Rules was then accordingly amended by ClassNK in order to reflect these changes.

The application of this new version of the IGC Code began on July 1, 2016. In order to reflect the changes made to the Code and its own Rules, ClassNK has reviewed of these guidelines and amended them accordingly as the “Guidelines for Floating Offshore Facilities for LNG/LPG Production, Storage, Offloading and Regasification (Fourth Edition)”.
